We are pleased to announce that our paper on " Methylcellulose/agarose hydrogel loaded with short electrospun PLLA/laminin fibers as an injectable scaffold for tissue engineering/3D cell culture model for tumour therapies " has been published in the journal of Biomedicine and is now accessible online: https://doi.org/10.1039/d3ra00851g
Thermosensitive hydrogels containing short fibers could be used in tissue engineering including orthopaedic. Given the increased stiffness of the material, its injectability, and the current lack of effective treatments for cartilage defects and joint stability to support ACL regeneration is a promising direction.
It was possible due to great team: Beata Niemczyk-Soczynska, Dorota Kolbuk, Grzegorz Mikulowski, Iwona A. Ciechomska and Pawel Sajkiewicz.
